Nightstand

IMG_0669_edited.jpg

While interning at PRG I was given opportunities to work on personal projects as part of their program. As one of my project I built myself a nightstand table. I was allowed to use scrap material found in the shop. This table is built using 1-1/2" steel box tube, wire mesh, and pine stick lumber. To achieve the worn finish of the wood, I used a grinder with a wire brush attachment to raise the wood grain, then used a butane torch to slightly burn the grain, and stained it. The steel frame is finished using Rust-Oleum hammered spray paint.
